
28 Feb Yorkshire Financial Awards 2020 winners revealed
A host of financial services firms and professionals were recognised as the region’s best at the Yorkshire Financial Awards last night.
The Insurance Emporium, Charles Stanley and Tilney were among the firms and providers to win the 22 awards during the ceremony at New Dock Hall in Leeds, where attendees celebrated the successes of the past 12 months and the region’s dedication to supporting clients of all sizes.
Of the individuals to be recognised at the Yorkshire Financial Awards, Ian Gibson of Tilney was named Director of the Year and Ekavi Beh of 1825 Financial Planning from Standard Life won Trainee of the Year.
In her speech at the Yorkshire Financial Awards last night, Cristina Serrano, immediate past director of memberships at Women in Banking and Finance, head of global institutional business at Santander Asset Management, and chair of the 2020 judging panel, said: “The Yorkshire Financial Awards has shown that the region is setting the standard for financial services nationwide, and is a testament to the size and growth of the economy. Once again I have been impressed with the dedication, knowledge and passion each of you put into making Yorkshire a great place.”
